A 1-day virtual workshop focused on keeping kids engaged
and turning them into volleyball players
Middle schoolers are an eclectic bunch; they’re excited, impressionable, insecure. Some have volleyball experience from a rec league or club, while others are just there because their friend wanted to try out. Coaching a group of them can feel like … you fill in the blank!
Whether you have some prior volleyball experience or were “asked” to coach the volleyball team without any knowledge of the sport at all, this 1-day virtual clinic will give you the tools you need to run tryouts, plan your season and teach the game, all while keeping kids engaged and sparking their love for the game. And that’s what it’s all about, right? Here’s what you can expect:
There are no stupid questions at this level! Live Q&As throughout the clinic allow you to ask about session topics or even about your team.
Take away a helpful handbook of notes and drills that will be discussed during to the clinic. Use it to jot down any ideas you pick up.
The video from the entire clinic is available on the website immediately after the live event ends. You can watch it on demand for life!
Never ask yourself, “What the heck
should we do in practice today?!” again.
“The topics were extremely relevant to middle school volleyball. I work in central Texas and thought what Deborah presented was very relevant to the talent level that I have.”
“Fantastic job with showing so many drills. As a visual person, seeing them in addition to the workbook was perfect. The clinic overall was very informative for a MS coach. I loved Deborah’s positive reinforcements and cues for the players.”
Great job, especially dealing with a group of unknown players of different levels and understanding. Many new drill ideas were gleaned. I appreciated watching an experienced coach teach in real time. Thank you!
“I really liked the cues and language – using particular phrases to elaborate on “move your feet” etc. I expect that will be impactful right off the bat when implementing points from the clinic in my program.”
“I loved Deborah’s philosophy and ideas and her fun and instructive games for young ones. I loved how she was so very positive with the kids, even when they made mistakes.”
